Rex went to the bridge in April, 2014 after suffering from Hepatocutaneous Syndrome. He came into rescue with this disease and his time with Lucky Star was far too short. Rex had an amazing spirit and greeted everyone he met with a wagging tail and smile. He touched the lives and hearts of everyone he came into contact with. Rest in Peace sweet, gentle Rex. You will be missed greatly by all who had the pleasure to meet you. Sweet Romeo passed away suddenly on March 22, 2022. He came to LS as a owner surrender in December 2015. His foster mom, Lynn, fell in love and made him a permanent part of the family shortly thereafter. He was goofy and fun and just a happy boy. He is greatly missed by his mom and brother Xander. He was preceded at the Bridge by his sister Anna and recently was joined by his other sister Ruby. You are missed Romeo. Rory This beautiful blenheim boy was rescued on St Patrick's Day from a puppy mill in Missouri in 2001. He was adopted from Lucky Star in April of 2001. He became a certified therapy dog and began his life long work on Valentines Day in 2005. Rory served as a therapy dog for eight years. He was given many awards for his many hours of dedication and commitment. He touched the lives and brought joy to hundreds of people throughout his life. He continued to bring pleasure right up to the end of his life and had his last therapy visit in May of 2013. Rory lived a wonderful life of being loved by his mom and Cavalier siblings. God bless you, sweet Rory. Dear Ruby came back to Lucky Star 2 years ago when her dad needed our help to care for her. She is the last dog left from our dear friend, Molly Malone. Ruby spent her remaining years as a permanent foster with Lucky Star. Ruby had many medical issues including the Cavalier heart, lymphoma, and arthritis. Just before her 16th birthday, she let us know it was time and she joined dear Molly at the Bridge. God bless you dear sweet girl. Sweet Rylie, Lucky Star Pixie, went to the Rainbow Bridge Monday evening, 9/21/15. Her heart just could not keep up with her desire to keep going, despite her valiant effort. She was 9 years old.
