~~Hi, my name is Matilda and I am 4 years old. I am just finding out about all the good things that life outside of a commercial breeding facility has to offer a sweet little girl like me. My foster Mom says I am a big girl in a little girl package. I weigh 13 lbs but am not a shy or timid little thing at all! I like chasing and rounding up the cavaliers in my foster home in hopes that they will play with me. I am doing quite well on housebreaking because that is what big girls do. I did have an accident in the house this morning but Mom was on Facebook and wasn’t paying attention that I needed to go out. I love the food we eat here and I sleep in a crate at night with a very soft blanket. My favorite thing so far is lying in my foster Mom’s lap. Laps are the best! I am also learning how to walk on a leash but I think I sashay because it sounds fancier.
I am spayed so no more puppies for me and I lost 9 teeth at my dental.

She  does have a grade 3 heart murmur but is not on any medication and is not symptomatic at this time. Matilda is on the small size so she definitely needs a fenced yard to play in and would love to have another small companion dog to keep her company.
