Bella continues to blossom while looking for her forever home.  Her coat is growing in nicely from her summer short haircut. She loves lap time and will let us know with a gentle touch on the leg when she wants to get up.  although she loves her Cavalier foster siblings, she is happiest with having a human touch.  Bella is very sociable and even seems to enjoy a somewhat enthusiastic greeting from our 2 year old granddaughter.  She continues to enjoy exploring the fenced yard and chasing the squirrels.  The only thing that would make her happier is to find that forever home of her own!

Bella is a very sweet black and tan 8 year old Cavalier who came to Lucky Star when her family moved away and couldn’t take her.  You can tell that she loves being part of a loving family and is happiest when she can snuggle in a lap or curl up on an ottoman next to you.  She gets along very well with her Cavalier foster siblings and quickly has become one of “the kids”.  She has a great temperament and has been very good with children  …..we have no idea about cats. Bella was used to having a doggie door  before she came into foster care but has adjusted very well without one and has no problem asking to go out. She has never had any accidents in the house!

Her favorite activity is watching (and chasing) squirrels in the fenced backyard  and just exploring.  Since she has hearing loss, a securely fenced (physical) yard is essential.

Bella is up to date on all of her shots and just had a dental.  Her exam revealed no health issues other than hearing loss.  Her family had the groomer give her a summer haircut before she came to us but her coat will grow back in no time at all.  She is a very mellow, sweet girl who just loves to be loved and is currently being fostered in Raleigh, NC.
