Meet me on Sunday December 11th at the Lake Calhoun Chuck & Don's store from 11am-1pm
Meet Cookie. She's an absolutely adorable, petite tri-color who is 5
years old and weighs about 12.5# and can you believe the vet said she
needs to lose 2 more lbs? She will be the most portable cavalier in
town!

She is full of love and had quickly made herself at home. She loves
sleeping in foster mom's lap or on the sofa - no floor for this little
darling. Cookie is doing very well at her housebreaking. She will go
into her kennel for meals, but, once done demands to be let back out
so she can be with her foster mom. She's a little girl with a big
personality. She's fine with the cats and female dog but isn't too
comfortable with the larger male dogs in her foster home so dogs abt
25# or less might be a better fit.

Cookie does have patella issues with both rear legs - right leg is
worse than left. She doesn't seem to be bothered by this; was playing
and frolicking in backyard and can do the steps with no problem. She
uses the steps to the sofa if no lap is available. Cookie does need
to lose a couple more pounds which will help keep her comfortable.
Cookie has been started on some over the counter supplements for her
joints but so far does not need any other medication. Her heart is
fine. She's a little shy at meeting new people, but tries very hard
to be brave and within a few minutes she's asking for attention. She
hasn't been bothered by loud noises. Due to her small size and
patella issues, it would be best for Cookie to be in a home with no
small children nor larger dogs. She is truly a lover once she's
comfortable and follows foster mom all over.

Cookie is being fostered in the Minneapolis, Mn area. If you're
