"Hi! I'm John Hancock. Most folks call me Hank. I'm a simple, quiet country boy, looking for my forever home."  I’m 3 ½ years old and weigh about 17 lbs.

Hank gained his newfound freedom just before Independence Day. He was extremely shy and timid at first. So many things we take for granted were obviously new to him. It took two weeks just to get him to walk in the grass! But - now that he has discovered the outdoors, he loves his daily walks around the property and loves to go exploring with his foster brothers and sisters. Did I mention how much he loves to play? This boy loves toys, and he loves playing tug of war with his foster brothers. 

Hank is still very shy; new people and commotion make him nervous. His kennel is his safe place, and he sleeps there at night. We close the door at night so he doesn't have 'accidents' in the house. He has come a long way in house training, but every mow and then he forgets. He is really just figuring out who he is and what the Cavalier life is all about. He is next level sweet, very gentle, and loves attention from his people. He's kid friendly and mother approved! 

He's fully vetted and neutered, with no heart murmur. He is very healthy, with bright eyes and a beautiful coat. He is definitely ready to meet and grow with his forever family! If he sounds like he's what you've been waiting for, get in touch with us - this sweet boy won't be here long!
