Meet Sydney 

 This sweet 5 yr old Blenheim girl was released from a farm in Ohio. She had birthed puppies recently and mothered the other puppies in her foster home, sleeping with them as well.  She continued to watch over them and branch out to learning about becoming a family pet. She liked the adult dogs and began to become social with the humans. She started sleeping with the adult dogs in the big bed and loving being petted, brushed and snuggled. 

She had all her vaccinations and HW neg test. She lost 17 teeth during her dental but gobbles down her food. Her uterus was enlarged and having it removed gave her an increase in energy.   She has been treated for ear infections and will need to have that monitored. She has love in her eyes as she watches the other dogs, pups and people. What she does not like is being in room as people leave. She scratches at the door frantically but gets over it. Being with people is her favorite thing. She also likes roaming around outside and trying hard to catch a bug or butterfly - especially the fire flies in the evening! She will need work on walking on a leash and house training but is making progress. She has quiet times where she is very calm and relaxed. 

Sydney needs a secure and nurturing home for her to continue to blossom as a family pet. She would also like to go along with her family in the car. Her coat was thin when she came to us, most likely hair loss from pregnancy.  As it has grown in, it is super soft and wavy and will likely get longer. She weighed 17 lbs when she arrived but is down to 14 lbs with a diet kibble. She is now at good weight for her size. Photos of her when she arrived and currently show the difference!        

If you are interested in giving a loving permanent home to Sydney please fill out an application. A secure fenced yard with an exit and entrance directly from the house is required. Well behaved and supervised children will be considered.
