Belle is being fostered about 30 minutes from Canton, OH. She is a 6 year old (our best estimate) tri-color girl that was used for breeding in a commercial breeding business. We are so happy that those days are behind her now. She has been spayed and had a badly needed dental where she lost all of her teeth which were infected. Her coat is still growing out as she was shaved down when she was rescued. She is ready to settle in to her forever home and live the life of a princess! She loves the humans in her foster home and gets along very well with the resident cavaliers. She can be shy with new people but is very social once she is comfortable. Her foster Mom says she is super sweet and gets easily distracted by anything that moves outside including leaves. She must never be left off leash as she will chase anything she is focused on. Belle must have a home with a physically fenced safe place to run and play. We will not consider homes without a fenced area for her. We want Belle to have at least one other dog in her forever home.

Belle loves her toys and has a special love for ones that squeak. She loves to be on the couch with her humans and adores her foster parent’s grandchildren. She has made great strides with housebreaking but still needs to be watched. She has not met any cats so we don’t know how she would do with them. She sleeps in a crate at night.

We also will consider homes first that are within a reasonable driving distance of her foster home. We do not ship our dogs or subject them to long transports.
