Suzie is a 9 year-old black & tan female who came to LSCR after her owner died.  She is very friendly and smart.  She learned the ways of the house in hours.    Enjoys snuggling, going for walks and chasing rabbits in the yard.  She loves sleeping with other dogs and humans.  Her favorite perch is the back of the couch where she can scan the horizon for anyone walking past the house.  Then she warns of the potential intruders.

She is in good shape and is recovering from her spay surgery and removal of a few bad teeth.  She has a low grade heart murmur but does not require medication at this time.  A follow up is recommended because of her age.  She’s had all her immunizations and is on medication (Incurin) for incontinence when she sleeps. 

She would do well in a home with other canine companions. She requires a securely fenced yard and home where she can receive attention.  We do not ship dogs or put on planes.  Please be within a reasonable driving distance and consider your location before applying.
