“Sugar, ah Honey Honey - You are my candy girl - And you got me wanting you.” If you remember that song I think they were writing it about Lucky Star Honey.

Meet Honey, a petite 4 year old girl that lives up to her name. Honey was rescued by Lucky Star from a commercial breeder. She has said goodbye to her days of baby making. Like many rescues she was a bit timid and shy when she first arrived but now she is making herself right at home with her foster family and loves having a comfy bed and loads of love. Honey loves giving hugs and being held, she rests her head on her foster mama's shoulder and likes being carried around. She is very good with her potty training and has not had any accidents inside the home. She still doesn't care to walk on a leash but loves stroller rides so she feels included on daily walks with her foster siblings. She is working on learning to climb stairs and would need continued practice if an adoptive home had them. 

Honey has been spayed and had quite a few teeth removed at her dental but she still enjoys her soft meals and treats with no problems! She does have a grade 2 heart murmur but is not on any meds at this time. She needs a home with a secure physically fenced yard. This is a must; she does not walk on a leash. She also needs at least one other small dog as a companion. She does very well with adults, children and all animals.
