Hello! My name is Travis and I am 8 ½ years. My owners had to give me up and I was lucky that they asked Lucky Star to find me a new home. I am a very handsome, lovable boy!

My eyes needed medication for “dry eye” and that has helped my eyes feel better. I need prescription drops (Tacrolimus) twice a day and moisture drops in between.     I have difficulty adjusting to changes in daylight and shadows. My mom helps me with that and I have learned to trust her and easily find my way around once I become familiar with my environment.   My new home needs to be able to help me with that till I learn my way around. I am also deaf so it is very helpful to have other dogs around whose lead I can follow.   I have mild S/M which cause me to scratch my neck and head so I take medication to relieve that feeling and that helps a lot!   A thunder shirt has also been helpful.

I have been neutered, had my dental and am up to date on my vaccinations.   I don’t have a heart murmur, which really made my foster mom happy. I weigh 16 lbs. and my foster mom gives me a supplement to protect my hips since I’m older.

I have found a favorite spot on a pillow and know right where that is. I love to lie next to my foster mom and be petted or just be nearby.  

Now that I’ve made all this progress here I am hoping to get a forever home that would like a new friend and can reassure me when I need that, and be around most of the time. I am OK when my foster mom has to be gone for a few hours and often I’m sound asleep when she gets home, but when I wake up I am happy she’s back! I like to go in the car and I also like to go for walks.   I am a very handsome boy and get lots of compliments.   I love ambling around the fenced yard (which is a must) and come back to the door when I’m ready to come in.   I’m really pretty easy going.
