Hello, my name is Alvin the Adorable, but you can call me Alvin. I will be 4 years old in February and right now I am weighing around 19 pounds My foster Mom says I am the sweetest little boy she has had the pleasure to foster and if you have a few hours she will tell you why.

I am crate trained (eat and sleep in one), love to go for rides in the car (I get excited at first, but then settle down for the drive), and am learning not to pull when I am walked.  I do LOVE to run and boy can I run fast (if Mom does not see me), so I really Will require a securely fenced in backyard. I also love to play with my siblings who range from 17 pounds to 6 pounds (the 6 pound yorkie is my favorite playmate), so another sibling would be great!!! I get along wonderfully with everyone, 4 legged and 2 legged. I have learned the doggie door and just love to run in and out of the house with my foster brothers & sisters when the weather is nice and Mom allows it.

I was rescued from a back yard breeder just in the nick of time.  Initially,  I tested positive for heartworms and had to go through heartworm treatment. My foster Mom had a very hard time trying to keep me quiet and I just did not understand why I could not run and play with all of my foster brothers and sisters. I sure did try to sneak a few rumps in when Mom was not looking (he!he!), but boy I sure go into trouble when she did find out (those darn siblings are tattletalers)!!! I have finished all the treatments and am now happily vet cleared  and  ready to find my furever home.

My favorite thing is curling up beside or on my foster Mom’s lap so she can pet me while she is watching TV. I love to give her kisses and she gives them right back on the top of my head.  I have lots of love to give you!
