Chase is  a rambunctious little 13 month old Blenheim boy with a heart of gold. He is very affectionate to go with all his energy. He will be in your lap in an instant to see how you are doing, and to give you a little nuzzle or kiss to let you know that he is okay and so are you. Then he is off to investigate whatever he can find to play with. He is not shy and loves attention. He gets along great with other dogs and fits in well in foster care with the nine other dogs (5 Cavaliers).

He is up to date on all his shots and is current with flea and tick control and heart worm preventative. His knees, eyes, and heart were all given positive results at his vet exams. . Chase loves his toys and will play fetch with a ball for as long as you let him. He will bring it right back to you and drop it into your hand to throw again and again. He knows commands to sit and stay, but his anxiousness puts a strain on his ability to stay very long. He just wants to get on with it. He is working on lay down, and is very good on a leash. He loves his walks and get crazy happy if he thinks he is going to go somewhere in the car. He is very well behaved in the car and tries very hard to stay out of the driver’s lap. . He just wants to be near you, and go with you. I hope you will open your heart and home to this sweet youngster.

Now Chase would like to say a few words:

Hi, I’m Chase. There is a big world out there that I would love someone to show me. I absolutely love new things, places, and new people.  I wrestle and play tug-of-war with the other dogs here, but I don’t fight with them. It just isn’t important for me to be the alpha. The other dogs here put me in my place every now and then when I get too nosy, but they are just trying to teach me my lessons. I love all of them, and will miss them when I get my own home, but that’s how things are.

I’m so excited about what is about to happen to me. I’ve grown strong and confident since being in my foster home. I’ve been with children, and I love them too. I’ve heard about agility training and therapy dog training and I think I could be really good at those things. My foster parents say I’m really smart, and learn quickly.  If you pick me I promise to be the most devoted friend you have ever had. Just picture you and me on the couch watching TV, or walking through the neighborhood with everyone saying how cute and well-behaved I am. I’m a healthy boy with energy to spare. How about it?
