Meet Rocky, a 1- year old Blenheim boy who has made himself perfectly at home in his foster home over the past month.  He came to us as a very timid boy, scared of most everything.  He did not really know how to be a dog, coming from a breeder release scenario.   He has transformed into a playful, loving, curious and well-mannered boy in such a short time.  He has seamlessly blended with all of his foster siblings who range is size, age and temperament.  He is doing very well with pottying outside if we pay attention and take him out regularly.  He has had very few accidents in the house and those happened the first couple of weeks that we had him.  He has spent a lot of time with our grand babies and he is wonderful with them as well.   He is very gentle and attentive when they are here, which is often.

Rocky does seem to prefer women over men but he is happy to cuddle on the couch with his foster dad.  However, whenever his foster dad walks through the door, Rocky acts like a stranger has broken in the house.  This should improve with time and patience.  In typical Cavalier fashion, Rocky is a snuggle bug.  His favorite place to be is next to his foster mom,  as close as he can possibly get.  He would love to sleep on the big bed, but for now, he is perfectly happy sleeping in a crate in the bedroom.   He never makes a peep until morning.  

The perfect home for Rocky would be one where he is not left alone all day.   We will consider older, respectful children and homes with another dog(s) for canine companionship. A securely fenced yard attached to the home is a requirement for all of our rescues.  He does not have any leash skills yet. He just needs practice.   He loves to play in the yard and explore.
