Anne is a 5-year-old Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel that spent all of her life in a commercial breeding facility until she was rescued by Lucky Star  in mid-October.  She is being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area. She recently underwent her spay and had 11 teeth removed at that time.  Her mouth feels so much better now.  She is very food motivated.  She is a timid girl but is coming out of her shell more and more every day.  Anne is still afraid of walking on a leash but as she gets more comfortable with humans being near her we hope she will gain the confidence to enjoy leash walks.

She is reliably potty trained in her foster home.  She has learned to follow the other dogs out into the securely fenced yard and really enjoys running with them.  She seems to love both big and small dogs.  She also gets very excited when she sees children but she is still too afraid to interact with them much.  While Anne has access to all areas in her foster home she does enjoy hanging out in her open crate and is happy to sleep in a dog bed near the other dogs.  She's very docile, not aggressive in any way. She approaches her humans to give a sniff but shies away when you move to pet her.  If you put her on your lap she is happy to stay there and be petted.  Anne will need a securely fenced yard and someone who is willing to help her overcome her timidness.
