Angel is a 7 year old Blenheim female. She was released by breeder in AR.  We gave her the name Angel because of how incredibly sweet and innocent she is.  When she feels safe and loved, she warms up quickly and wants to be close to you and take naps right next to you.  She doesn’t mind being around other dogs but she is very timid and fearful around children.    But she can be more timid when around a lot of people or dogs so she finds a quiet place and stays there till she is more comfortable. She is house trained and uses a doggy door we have at our home for our other dogs.  We do not support the use of a doggie door when unattended or left alone.   She is becoming more comfortable a little at a time with a leash and is also crate trained.

She has bonded so strongly to her foster dad. She gives him the most affection and attention and is never timid or nervous around him. She gets crazy excited whenever he comes home and follows him everywhere he goes. She would love to be adopted into a new family with a male who is going to show her attention and kindness. However, she is very sweet to her foster mom and human sister so a family who gives her love and affection and can also provide security and safety will be a wonderful match for her.

She requires a fenced in yard, preferably a higher wooden, as she has proven she can climb and jump over a chain link.   Keeping her safe is a great concern when she goes to a new place. It is imperative she only be allowed in the yard supervised.  She is learning how to be a pet for the first time so she needs a safe enclosed place to play outside where she isn’t able to escape. We are going to focus on adult only homes because she is fearful of children .  She is being fostered in Conway, AR.
