Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (short coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
UPDATED; Must haves for Babs
Bab's was rescued by Lucky Star from a commercial breeder. She has had lots of puppies and before coming into foster care had not had much love or attention. These things are new to her. She is more comfortable with her foster Mom but will now approach her foster Dad. While she is still very shy around men she is making progress. An adopter will need to continue to work with her on this. While she is a larger cavalier at 24.5 pounds she is not overweight. There are other cavaliers in her foster home that she has made friends with and they provide security for her. She does well with the family cats. Babs does like toys and a comfy dog bed. She will need a home who will accept her shyness and will show her that love and attention are good things. She has not yet asked to be cuddled but we hope that she will learn that is a good thing. If you would like to help this girl take a chance on love please fill out an adoption application at Luckystarcavalierrescue.org. Once you have filled out an application you my email Pat Wellmeier to let her know of your interest and to ask any questions. Pwellmeier@myself.com. If we are considering your application you will be contacted via the email address listed here.
