Toby is a 16 month old chocolate and tan Cavalier.  He loves to play, chew toys and cuddle with his foster siblings and foster mom.  Toby is very smart, friendly and affectionate.  He is also good with cats, although has been known to play-chase with a willing cat. He can also walk on a leash and would love to perfect his walking skills.

Toby has had his dental and was recently neutered and is up to day on his vaccinations.  He's working on his housebreaking and making good progress.  He's kennel trained and when left alone, he's kenneled since he's still learning about being a family members and still needs supervision.

Toby is heart clear at this time.  He had been DNA tested and it showed positive for Episodic Falling Syndrome. However at this time, he's had no episodes while in foster care, even when excited or playing.  He was surrendered to Lucky Star because he could not be used for breeding with this gene.   He may not ever show symptoms of the condition.  He has one eye with Dry Eye and will require life-long medication. 

Toby would love a home with other small dogs to play and cuddle with and of course his own lap(s) to curl up on.  He's going to make a fantastic companion!
