Jennie is about 5-6 years old.  She came into Lucky Star care a few months ago, underweight, not spayed and with untreated diabetes.  Thanks to the care of our wonderful vet in TN, her health has greatly improved and she has blossomed into a lively, lovely girl, ready for a home of her own.  In spite of her adult age, she acts like a puppy, is spunky and loves to run and play as long as people are with her.  She needs a family who is willing to give her lots of attention and be with her all the time.

 She is crate trained and housebroken.  She will lay in your lap for hours if you let her but once she is put down, she wants to play.  She does not care for young children and does like small dogs.  She would love a home with a securely fenced yard, lots of walks and to be given lots of attention.  An owner with experience with diabetes and willingness to keep the routine of injections is necessary.  She is a very precious little dog, with lots of love to give.
