Tina will instantly steal your heart away… This adorable 15 pound, 5 year old, tri-color is smart, happy, cuddly. She is housetrained, walks happily on a leash (if it’s not raining), comes when called, travels well in the car, and is polite and accepting of new people and other dogs of all sizes. Tolerates, but does not like cats much. Tina’s breakfast and dinner disappear quickly but she isn’t an indoor or outdoor “scrounger” and though she’ll be at your feet, does not beg at people meals and will sit patiently for a treat. Though a bark or two have been offered, she is usually quiet and greets you after an absence with happy whimpers and a wagging tail rather than barks. Tina doesn’t qualify for “watchdog status” but she also doesn’t scratch at the door when visitors come to call! She enjoys watching television as long as she has a companion there to enjoy it with her. If you have a couch, bed and a lap, this little girl will be content to follow you around 24-7. She also is clearly fond of bonding with an accepting companion dog and may be happiest in a home with another cuddly dog – and no friendly cats. Tina does cower at sudden movements and has not yet been exposed to young children so until further noted, an adult environment may best suit her current temperament.
Tina is spayed, had her teeth cleaned and is up to date on vaccinations. She has made an excellent adjustment in her foster home, living with 2 other dogs and a loving family. She will be a wonderful loving pet for a family that is willing to give her the happy secure life she deserves.
