Introducing Casey, a tiny, 15 pound bundle of tri-color love.  Casey will capture your heart within minutes of meeting him.

After a very short time of exploring his new foster home and meeting his foster brothers and sisters, Casey showed us he was ready to trust us and join the family.  Casey is always happy, with a smile and a constantly wagging tail.  He is an energetic 6 year old who loves to run and explore his environment.  He loves soft places and toys, often having 1 or 2 tucked under his chin as he naps on the couch or one of the dog beds.  He also loves to cuddle, either on his foster mom’s lap or right next to her.  Casey makes adorable soft snuffling noises as he sniffs and explores his environment.. He loves sleeping on the big bed at night with all his foster siblings.  He is housetrained and has learned to navigate the short set of steps to the yard.  The longer stairs to the basement are still a challenge that we are working on.  He is mastering leash training, but like a true Cavalier, he would rather run free in his fenced yard.  He will make you laugh as you watch him roll with abandon in the grass.

Casey has been neutered, vaccinated and has had a dental.  He has no health issues.

This precious, sweet, loving boy would love a forever home where someone is home most of the day to provide the companionship he craves and the guidance he needs to continue his training.  Casey needs a securely fenced yard where he can safely run as much as he wants.  Older children who are gentle with a small dog would be fine.  He will do well either as an only dog or with others of a similar size to play with.
