Looking for little guy with a great big heart?  Meet Aspen!

Aspen is a young, 11 month old Tricolor Cavalier King Charles.  He has adorable markings and weighs around 15 pounds.   He is learning everything about living in a loving home and being a member of a family.  He has the most adorable, fun loving, puppy personality.  He loves playing with toys, chasing a ball or playing with his foster brothers and sisters.

Aspen  was rescued from a puppy mill and initially had a lot to learn about living in a home.  He has made so much progress in his foster home.  He now loves to get baths and be brushed.   He loves to sleep in the big bed all night long with all the rest.  He curls up in the crook of his mom’s arms and falls right to sleep.  He thinks puppy kisses are so much fun too and is affectionate. 

He loves being outside and running around the yard and playing but also has that wonderful Cavalier trait of lap sitting and wanting to be cuddled.  Along with all the fun he likes to have, he can be found curled up in a chair sleeping the afternoon away.

Aspen is doing very well on potty training.  Having someone home most the day will help him continue with his successes.   He is extremely affectionate and bonds quickly to his person and other dogs.   He hasn’t been exposed to kitty-cats but he is a gentle, sweet little Cavalier.  He would do best in a home with a fenced yard so he can run.  He is learning to walk on a leash.  He is a very healthy, young Cavalier with no heart or patella issues.  He is neutered, up to date on all his shots and very ready to find his new forever home.  Aspen would do best with another playful dog companion and a safely fenced yard is a must.
