Meet Rosie, a stunning 5-6 year old Ruby female Cavalier weighing in at a trim 18 lbs.  On May 31st, 2013 she fell into the hands of Lucky Star, along with Blaze and Amber, leaving life as a breeder behind her forever.  She has been  spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for heartworm and has no heart murmur and treated for other typical conditions, ears, dental, etc.... She showed her Rosie disposition from day one.

When she came to our foster home, she was a little shy and not sure of her surroundings and the behavior expected in the house.  She is now dependably going potty outside, not in her crate or the house, ascending and descending stairs like a pro, and just a very happy go-lucky girl.  Rosie just loves hanging out with her foster family watching tv, attending youth baseball games, soaking up the sun on the back deck and most of all, just getting attention from her humans.  She adores the children in the house, ages 4 and 7 years old, and even loved going with me to pick them up from school and stealing all the attention from the kiddos at school.  She patiently sat and enjoyed all the oohs and aahs and lovin' from all the kids.  Her sweet, calm, ever grateful for affection personality would make her an amazing therapy dog.  She is really coming out of her shell and playing with stuffed toys, getting super excited for breakfast and dinner time and she is always happy to see us when we return home or in the morning when we let her out for potty.  Nothing makes my heart swell more than when I see her little body wiggling with excitement to see us and be a part of her foster family.  You can see and feel the gratitude she expresses for being rescued and living the life she deserved long ago.  Rosie is very flexible, she loves to relax, but also enjoys going for walks to check out her surroundings even more. It is obvious that relishes every day she is alive and she will make the right family a super pet.

Rosie deserves a loving, caring home, where she will get plenty of attention.  She will shower you with love and gratitude.  She will need a fenced yard (not an invisible fence).  She is being fostered in Michigan.  Please complete an adoption application first, the contact mary401339@aol.com of your interest.
