Mercy is just one of the 8 dogs that came to Lucky Star as a result of a mill confiscation in Ohio.  She and the others had to wait in foster care for about a month before the owner surrendered their dogs and now they can all be readied for adoption.  

Mercy is a sweet and playful 3 year-old female.  She's housebroken, sleeps in a crate at night and loves people.  She's good with children, 5 years and older.  She loves her foster mom and will growl at the other dogs when she's in her lap.  We're working on that and she's doing much better.  She plays with the other dogs and isn't aggressive with food or toys.  She is vocal at times but doing much better as she adjusts to this new experience of being in a home and not a mill.  She's a lap dog and if you don't want a dog following you around an on your lap when you sit down, she's not the dog for you.  She loves to be outside and needs some work on leash walking.  She does fine when she is walking with other dogs, just follows what they do.  She's a pretty girl and will be a real beauty when her ears grow out.  She will be spayed next week and, after she recuperates, she'll be ready for adoption.
