Dear Santa:

My name is Gem. I am a 7 year old Black and Tan Purebred Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  I was recently surrendered to Lucky Star Rescue so that I can be adopted into a loving & forever home.  I am pretty shy,but very smart.  I have learned very quickly that bathroom breaks aretaken outside and I have already mastered going up and down stairs.  I love playing with my foster cavalier brothers and sisters and beingcared for by my foster parents.  I’m still figuring out the leashthing, so I really love exploring the fenced backyard freely.  I have been spayed and UTD on my vaccinations.  I do have a very slight heart murmur, but I do not need any medication for it.

 I am a really sweet girl and my Christmas wish is to be adopted by a loving family who has at least one other doggy companion, a fenced backyard, and a warm lap to snuggle in.
