Meet Star a beautiful 8 year old Blenheim girl. She spent her entire life in a puppy mill, but you would never know it now. From the beginning her personality came shining through, hence the name Star.  You might expect her to be nervous around people.  Not Star. She has an incredibly sweet, outgoing personality. She bounces around the yard like a puppy and loves to play with other Cavaliers. She weighs 18 pounds, has been spayed and is up to date on shots. She is being treated for dry eyes and will need to continue that inexpensive treatment for life.  Star has an impressive appetite and loves her treats. She is working on house training and is learning quickly, but may have the occasional accident.

Star likes to cuddle up at night next to another cavalier and sleeps in a large crate right next to their foster mom’s bed. We are sure that she would love to cuddle up in bed too.  She sleeps through the night without making a peep except a few snores, now and then. Star is not familiar with leash walking, but she is so confident and congenial, that training her should be a breeze. Training this sweet thing to do anything should be a breeze. She is smart and has a puppy’s curiosity and energy. Star is great with other dogs and would do best in a home with at least one other small dog.  We are not sure about cats. Star would be a wonderful companion to someone who is home most of the time, after all her time in a puppy mill, she wants to be with her person.
