Gracie has been adopted.

Gracie is a very sweet and quiet 14-15 pound 6 year old female girl with lovely tri-color markings. She is slowly coming out of her shell after six years in a puppy mill. She is quite afraid of people, but is warming up to her foster mom. She gets along well with the other two Cavaliers in the house and has chosen a favorite spot in a cozy bed under mom’s desk where she spends most of the day. She wags her tail constantly, but is too shy to move very far from her favorite spot.
Gracie sleeps and eats well and always does her business outside. She is hesitant to go outside, but once out there, she does her business, wags her tail then promptly runs back to her safe zone. She would do best with someone who is not gone for more than 3 or 4 hours a day. Gracie is a great companion; she loves her foster mom and wants to be close by her at all times. At night, she sleeps quietly alongside mom and Pearlie, one of the other Cavaliers.
An ideal home would be quiet, with adults and perhaps one or two other dogs. A home with small children would probably not be the best choice for Gracie. She is somewhat fearful of loud noises and prefers quiet places - without a lot of people or activities going on all at once. Gracie loves to sit in mom’s lap as well and is warm and sweet.
If you feel you can give this adorable girl the forever home she deserves, please complete an on-line application indicating you are interested in Gracie. Then, please contact jcharlton1@att.net to let her know of your interest. Gracie is being fostered in Lewisville, TX
