William is an affectionate Ruby Cavalier who is 16 months old. He was a breeder surrender to Lucky Star and is enjoying the good life learning to be royal house dog. 

William has a wonderful, lovable  personality. William is playful, and he loves to play with all kinds of toys, especially squeaky toys, plastic bones, and balls. He also enjoys zooming around the yard. He always wants lots of cuddles, and he will happily sit with you on the couch. William does not like being alone. He just wants to be with his “person,” and he will follow you around the house. William can get under people’s feet so it is recommended William not go to a home with someone with limited mobility/fall risk. 

William gets along really well with her foster family’s other Cavaliers, and he enjoys playing and cuddling with them. He is great in the car and enjoys going for a ride in her car seat. 

William is not housebroken, and he is currently working on house training and kennel training. He does not like being crated, but he is doing well when crated  in the living room and kitchen while his foster family is gone.

William is up-to-date on his vaccines, and he was neutered while in rescue. He also takes monthly flea and heartworm preventatives. William does have some reflux which we are addressing with over the counter Prilosec. 

William would be happiest in a family where someone is home most of the time. His forever home requires a securely fenced yard with enough room for him to run and play fetch as well as another dog, preferably a Cavalier in the home to help build his confidence and have a companion to play and snuggle. William is a wonderful and loving boy who will make an excellent fur friend.
