Meet Tillie, the doggie equivalent of Shirley Temple.  Tillie is the sweetest thing on earth, bouncy, wiggly and downright adorable.  Tillie lives with 6 other dogs getting along with all of them.  When it is nap time, you will find her in the middle of the pile, snuggling with someone else.  Tillie loves to snuggle with humans, too.  She gets very excited when you go to pick her up and there is a little bit of pee that escapes as you reach down.  Her foster mother whispers in her ear and gives her kisses and her tail wags and wags.  Tillie is mostly housebroken, she needs a little more work as she does not tell you she needs to go out.  Her foster mother takes her out every three hours and there are very few accidents.

Tillie sleeps in a crate with another dog at night.  Just the words “who wants a cookie,” and she is very willing to go in the crate.  She is not a barker, but is a talker, makes little excitement type noises.  Tillie likes everyone and spends time with an older child.  She has not been tested with cats.

Tillie has been spayed, brucellosis and HW tested (negative) , vaccinated and had quite a few teeth removed during her dental surgery.  She’s doing just fine and can eat kibble that is softened with warm water.  She weighs 13.7 lbs.

Tillie is being fostered in the Hudson Valley area of NY.  She requires a canine companion, preferably a Cavalier and a securely fenced yard as all of our rescues must have.  You must be within a reasonable driving distance since we do not support long distant adoptions, ship dogs or put on planes.  Please consider all before applying, then contact Mary Coyne, mary401339@aol.com after completing an application.

Thank you
