J’aime, called Jamie by her foster mother, tends to be a little shy with new people and new places, but has great potential as a very affectionate girl. She loves her time in her foster mother’s arms  Until Jamie entered rescue, she had very little human contact, making human touch a new thing.  Jamie is estimated to be 5-6 years old.  She  loves to be brushed gently, loves Charlie Bear treats and a comfortable bed.  Jamie is very good about going potty outside, but does not tell you.  Her foster mother keeps her on a schedule and unless it it raining, there are no accidents.  Jamie spends the day with other Cavaliers, English Toy Spaniels and a Cocker Spaniel, getting along with all.  She has her favorite and they like to sleep together.  Jamie is crate trained.  Just say “who wants a cookie?”  Walk to the crate and she goes in. 

Jamie likes to watch the activity in the household.  You will find her just at the shadow, watching.  The best thing about Jamie is she is ready for a new life.  She still needs a little patience, but she is very worth it. We will be considering applications within a reasonable distance of her foster location in Hudson Valley, NY, a home with another Cavalier, no small children, a securely fenced yards, and lots of patience and time to allow her to continue to gain confidence and become comfortable with humans and living in a home.

Jamie has been spayed, dental, vaccinations, brucellosis and HW tested (negative).
