Ella came to Lucky Star after being surrendered by her original owner who could not care for her any more. She is a sweet loving 7 ½ year old girl who loves nothing more than being close to her people, long naps, and rides in the car.  She is friendly and outgoing when company visits her foster home.  She likes to sit on the sofa or in a chair with her foster family and gets along great with the two resident dogs.  She sleeps in the big bed at her foster home. She loves being close to her people.

She is housebroken and will go to the door when she wants to go out.  She walks well on a leash but gets easily distracted if something catches her eye.  She is very food motivated but not aggressive or protective of her food and does not invade the other dogs' food bowls when they are eating.  She likes her dog snacks and an occasional Pupcup from the DQ as a special treat.

Ella is being fostered in Northern Ohio not far from Dennison and New Philadelphia, OH. We do not ship our dogs so please be aware that we expect adopters to be within driving distance to adopt their dog. We require a physically fenced yard for all of our rescues.
