I am a senior boy looking for a special family that will love me like my Mommy and Daddy did before they got sick and could no longer take care of me.  Lucky Star took me in and promised they would get my health needs updated and find me a family who will love me like my Mommy and Daddy did.

I am 9 years old and lived with my family for many years. My Daddy played with me and taught me to love toys. I love that my foster mommy brings me new toys to play with. I especially like chasing a ball. I do like to go for walks but they have to be away from busy roads because I like to bark at the cars. I am very happy playing in the yard and really love my cavalier cousins in my foster home. I love to eat and will dance for a treat. I get a little anxious when my family leaves so I would love to live with someone who is home most of the day.

Lucky Star gave me some very overdue vet care. They learned I have mitral valve disease (MVD) like many senior cavaliers do. I had an echo done and was put on heart meds to help me heart work better. Rocket is NOT in congestive heart failure but will need to be on heart meds and have regular follow up echocardiograms. Lucky Star also provided dental care for Rocket that was overdue. He has no teeth left but feels much better.

Rocket is being fostered in Cincinnati, OH. He needs to find a family that doesn’t live too far away as he is not fond of long car rides as they make him queasy. He absolutely must have a physically fenced yard, other cavaliers or small dogs to play with and someone who is home most of the day. Rocket needs a forever home that will give him the love he got with his Mom and Dad.
