Meet Chloe! She came to Lucky Star from a breeding facility. She seemed to already know about being petted and being on the couch. She also made friends easily with humans and the other dogs in her foster home - or maybe it was her dream coming true! She is very affectionate and wants to be on a lap whenever possible. She is calm and not demanding. She is flexible, willing to sleep in a crate or on the big bed. Her coat is short and smooth, very soft and you just can't resist petting her.

Chloe is 4 1/2 yrs old and has been spayed, given vaccinations, is heart worm neg, other labs are normal and she does not have a heart murmur. She is almost house trained, but needs to keep working on it. Chloe started out very hesitant to go outside with the other dogs. It seemed she was afraid to go through the door way, down a few stairs and out the door and would hold back and wait. At first we carried her to the yard and gradually worked on her coming out on her own. Once outside she wanted to come right back in after going potty. She probably wants back on someone's lap to cuddle! She has made good progress through an entrance with no stairs. Her confidence has definitely increased. She is great in the car and learning to walk on a leash.
