Ivy is a beautiful 5 year old Cavalier. She has blossomed from the shy little girl who arrived close to New Year's Eve and welcomed 2019 with excitement for her very own forever home. Ivy has a grade 3 heart murmur and is on two medications daily for her heart. She is doing very well on these meds and is very outgoing and playful. An adopter needs to be able to keep up with her medications and commit to regular follow-ups with a veterinary cardiologist.

Ivy loves to play outside with her cavalier siblings in her foster home. She would not do well as an only dog so we will only consider homes that have other companion animals. She likes playing with toys, eating and snoozing in her crate. She needs a securely, physically fenced yard. Applicants with unfenced yards or invisible fences will not be considered.

Ivy is being fostered in a suburb of Dayton, OH. Applicants within driving distance will be considered first.
