UPDATE:  Aug 18.  Any home with cats would not be a good choice for Arthur so, unfortunately, we cannot consider those applications.  

Arthur is a young adult (2-4 year old) Ruby male Cavalier who was surrendered to the rescue. He is very active, playful and happy! He is healthy, although a bit skinny (because of his activity!) and has no issues at this time. He needs a family with another dog to play with, he is good with big and little dogs. He also would prefer to have a family with children to play with as he adores the little boy in his foster home he plays with. He enjoys snuggling at night and getting most of the attention. He is housetrained and working on basic commands. Arthur is very smart and could thrive as an agility or obedience dog. An active home in which he could be played with and walked daily is ideal. His energy level is on par with a Jack Russell terrier and so is his athleticism. This boy has never met a stranger and is friendly with all people and always smiling! He is being fostered in the East TN area. Arthur requires a securely fenced yard as well and would do best in an active household with time to spend with him. Applications that meet his needs within a reasonable distance will be given first consideration.
