Aurora (Rori) is a spirited black and tan girl, approximately 6 years old who was scheduled to be euthanized when Lucky Star took her in.   At the time she was a bit overweight and had a Grade 4 subluxating patella.   She received the knee surgery she badly needed, has recovered nicely, lost some weight and is now ready for her own forever home at her new weight of 16 lbs.

Rori has a curious personality and loves to be included in all that is going on. She has a sweet disposition and likes everyone she meets. She is great in the car and loves to go on walks. Rori is house trained reliably. She is not good around cats but gets along great with other dogs. She is very people oriented and knows how to steal your heart! Her coat was clipped short and is now growing in beautifully. She has dry eye and needs special drops in both eyes daily.

Rori would be a good companion as well as a good family dog. Older mature children are preferred. She would be happy as an only dog and also in a home with other dogs but we do not recommend any other kinds of small pets in the home.
