Meet Sophie, a beautiful 3 year old Blenheim female. Sophie was relinquished to the program due to allergy issues and must be on special food and treats to prevent allergic reactions and skin issues. She is doing fantastic on her new food which is bison and can be purchased at most upscale pet stores. Her coat is shiny and growing back in beautifully. Sophie has been to the vet and has no heart murmurs, no luxating patellas, and no eye issues.  Please keep in mind this is no guarantee for the future, but it's an amazing start. Sophie is very hard of hearing, but she can hear some sounds, like a loud clap. Her hearing loss doesn’t limit her in any way, quite the opposite! Sophie is quite aware when her humans arrive home from work or an outing.  Her sense of smell is out of this world.  Sophie adores her crate, she will scratch at the door to open it, if it accidentally closes, she will nap in it, or just hang out in there while the humans do things around the house. She sleeps in the crate at night but would probably adjust to sleeping on the big bed.

Sophie is currently being fostered with 3 human children, 2 other dogs, and 2 cats, she seems to have no issues with any of them. Sophie loves to play with the other dogs and the humans. She is potty trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. If you think you have what it takes and can provide Sophie with her special bison food, she might be the dog for you.
