Are you looking for a sweet, curious, and endearing dog? Leena, a 3 yr old beautiful 23 lb blenheim girl, is all that and more. She was rescued from life in a cage just after Thanksgiving along with Edie. Her new life is very exciting. She is learning new things every day. She especially likes going outside and watching the squirrels. She looked like she was dancing when she stood up on her back legs and hopped backwards in order to spot the squirrel she saw in a tree. She enjoys chewing on sturdy dog toys. Leena has become close friends with another dog in her foster home. Leena comes and lays down by him during the day and they sleep right next to each other at night. Leena would like another canine companion in her forever home.  She is making good progress on housetraining and eagerly comes when called. She is doing well on a leash also. Her vet care included spaying, dental , shots and heartworm test (neg), microchipping and she has no heart murmur. She loves to exercise outside, able to run freely for the first time in her life. She greets everyone she has met with loving eye contact and a big wagging tail. She comes right up for petting and compliments. It's not hard to fall in love with her! Leena will be a wonderful family dog, and would be best with at least one other dog, older respectful children. A fenced yard (a physical, 4-sided enclosed fenced yard) is a must.  She needs a safe yard because she will chase the squirrels.
