Hello, my name is Ruby.  I am a little Blenheim Cavalier girl, who just turned 4 years old, with a big personality.  My favorite thing in the world is to snuggle and sit in your lap.  Next is to give kisses and get hugs.  My previous family was super busy and wanted me to have more attention.

 

 I have lots of energy and love to run around my fenced yard and take walks.  My foster mom says I’m perfect on a leash!  I’m just a tiny girl at 11 pounds so my foster mom watches me closely outside.  I’m housetrained and my foster mom doesn’t think I’ve had any accidents.  I’m such a good girl, that my foster mom lets me have the run of the house with my foster Cavalier sisters and brother if she has to leave for a little bit.  I do bark and cry when she walks out the door, then I settle down for a nap.  I’m also good with voice commands and sit and stay nicely.  Mom says I’m a very smart girl and learns quickly.

 

I love having other doggy siblings and usually can be found curled up on the couch next to one of them.  I would also be ok with being the only doggy since I love humans even more but it sure would be fun to have a doggy sister or brother.  My foster mom would like me to have a home where someone is home most of the time because I love attention so much.  I would like a family who has plenty of time for me.

 

Sleeping in bed at night with my foster family is so wonderful since I get cold easily here in Colorado.  I curl up close and sleep all night long.  My foster mom doesn’t know how I am with cats.  Because of my size, I wouldn't do well with young children.  I adore my foster dad and older foster brother.  I love to meet new people and not afraid of strangers.  I’m just a tiny bit timid overall but I’m growing in confidence every day since I’m so social.  I’m mostly fearless and love to bark!  Guess I have lots to say.

 

My vet says there are no current issues with my knees and heart.    I was recently spayed, had my teeth cleaned and caught up with all my vaccines.  Now my mom brushes my teeth daily to keep them healthy.  Wish I could stay with my foster mom but she says she wouldn’t be able to foster anymore Cavaliers if she does.  She says I will find the most wonderful forever home that adores me just as much as she does.  I heard her say I’m just about the most perfect Cavalier ever!
