Sammy is a beautiful 6 year old blenheim Cavalier.  He is sweet, playful and extremely affectionate. If you are looking for a lap dog, this guy fills the order. Sammy's owners were no longer able to care for him and contacted Lucky Star to come to his rescue. Sadly, Sammy is deaf.  He is very sweet and watches his foster mom and the other dogs and follows some minimal hand signals so he will need to go to a home that understands his needs.  His hearing loss does not slow him down at all. Sammy enjoys life to the fullest and has no other health issues. 

Sammy gets along with the other cavaliers in the home and enjoys being with them. He is overweight but has lost nearly 2 pounds since being in foster care. He will need a home to help him continue his weight loss routine, someone who can resist those “I’m starving” Cavalier eyes!
