Meet Flora, a beautiful Black and Tan girl who is just waiting to smother you in cuddles and kisses!  She is very affectionate and wants to be first in line when being petted or getting a treat. She really wants to have attention paid to her and thrives on it.  

Flora came to Lucky Star in pretty bad shape. She was so anemic from being infested with fleas and ticks, she had to be put in critical care, it was touch and go with her for a few days. It is also believed she may have been debarked. Even though she could barely hold her head up, this amazing girl never stopped wagging her tail in appreciation of the kindness that was being shown to her.  Now that she has made a full recovery, there is no stopping this free spirit! She has so much energy and loves to be outside running and playing with other dogs. She also likes quiet time when she knows her special human(s) is close by. She showers her foster mom and dad with affection and loves to be close to her people and enjoys sitting next to one and all during TV time. She will look at you with the most adoring eyes and wag her tail excitedly. She really loves spending her nights in the big bed and is a great big cuddle bug.

She is making progress with the housebreaking issue. She will use the doggie door but will need to be led outside initially. She would also love to have some doggie companionship but can be a bit bossy with other dogs.
