Hi my name is Billy and I am a sweet 8 year old boy. I love to cuddle and I am looking for a buddy to cuddle with. My foster Mommy says that I give the best hugs. I love to play with other friendly dogs, so if you have a dog already, I’m happy about that. But, if you don’t, that’s fine with me, too. I like to be wherever my people are. I never like to be alone. I spent many years alone, and I am trying to make up for lost time. I love humans and I did not get a chance to connect with very many in my life. I may be an older boy, but I have many miles left in me. I am very active, and very playful. After a long day of cuddling and playing I really enjoy some quiet time in my crate. I love, love, love, to nap and that’s what I like to do at the end of the day. I sleep quietly in my crate all night, too. I am smart and want to please my person, so much. I have learned my new name and I love it! 

Note:  Billy is such a wonderful boy. He is playful, gentle and can still acts like a puppy. He loves to cuddle and relax after a few minutes of playing. Billy would love to be an only dog, although he gets along well with other dogs, as well. His ideal home situation would be a family where his person is home most of the time, or a retired couple. He would also do well with a home with older children or teenagers. This poor boy lived a very secluded and neglected life before he was rescued. He was found in a barn, so was unsocialized. He shows signs of having been abused, as he moves back whenever someone moves towards him quickly. Somehow he still loves people though. When he was found he was very skinny, and covered in filth. Now he is a hearty healthy boy and ready for the next chapter of his life :)
