Meet a Great Girl named Greta (see how Greta turns into Great!)

This 8 year old tricolor lady is as sweet as can be. You wouldn’t think for a minute that she is 8! 

Greta came from a breeding farm and is a little timid but loves attention with a slow, gentle approach.  She also enjoys the company of other dogs but craves special times when she has undivided attention from her foster mom and dad. Greta is not demanding. She will happily sleep in an open crate and enjoys other comfy spots too. She is a smart cookie -she catches on to things quickly. 

She has been spayed and had a dental cleaning. The vet did not hear a heart murmur and she had blood work and vaccinations. She had an ear infection which was treated and resolved. She weighs 16.6 lbs which is a good weight for her. She had hair loss when she arrived which is attributed to the stress of pregnancy and is resolving nicely. 

She is active outside and causes squirrels to go the other way! She is making excellent progress with house training, however does not like to go out when the grass is wet. It’s amusing to watch her hop like a bunny to avoid the feel of the wet grass on her feet! 

Greta has great potential as a loving companion and loyal pet. She needs a home where training can continue and where she can feel safe, accepted and loved. Your endeavors with her will be rewarded with her abundance of love and devotion. 

If you are interested in giving “Great Greta” a wonderful forever home please fill out an application. Mature and respectful children are acceptable. Another dog in the home is also the best for her. You must have a physically fenced yard with an entrance from the house and back into the house. Greta is being fostered in southeast Michigan.
