Julia ("Jules") is a sweet and calm girl who has blossomed in foster care. She loves cheese time and her sister and does happy spins when she gets excited. She remains timid about being handled (especially by strangers) when hands come from above but her response is to cower and freeze, which is just heartbreaking. She has learned to love snuggling in laps and in the bed and appreciates hanging out and helping one of her foster parents with his work from home job. She is a lovely girl. She is currently on cyclosporine eye medication for dry eye that seems well controlled. She has a mild heart murmur due to mild mitral valve degeneration. No medication is currently required but she will need yearly recheck with a cardiologist. She is learning to walk on a leash and how to brush her teeth. She ignores cats. She takes cosequin with msm nightly as a supplement.
