Stormy was rescued the January 1 , 2022, the day after Betty White died.  We found out that Betty, a true animal lover, had a dog of her own named Stormy.  In honor of Betty, we named our girl Stormy. 

Stormy has always been timid but wants to be close to her person.  She always follows her foster home and will lay by her feet when she works in her office or by her bedside on the floor at night.  She has endless patience with the puppy in her foster home who insists on pulling on her ears constantly.  Stormy must have been a good mom because she has never been cross with the puppy or any other of her foster siblings. She hasn’t got a mean bone in her body.

After a few weeks in foster care, she became sick and needed emergency surgery to remove an obstruction from her intestines.  She has a tendency to eat things off the ground outside and apparently before we acquired her, she ingested some large hard objects which eventually became stuck.  She recuperated nicely.
