Meet Finney - This small 6 yr old ruby boy came into Lucky Star from his original home. 

He had progressively become intolerant of the toddler in the home of a total of 4 young children. He needs to be in a home where he does not have to compete for attention. Ideally an adult-only home would be best for him with no children visitors.  He can be aggressive with children and wants nothing to to with them.  He loves to be on a lap, and likes women better than men. He is house trained, neutered and up to date on everything. The vet heard a grade 2/6 heart murmur and did not find any patella problems. He eats well and sits for a treat. He has been in a crate when no one is home but at night wants to sleep on a big bed. He is very alert to noises and will bark or do a low growl at a noise he’s not used to. We are giving him a calming supplement chew and he has on a calming collar. 

We are looking for a quiet home for him with absolutely no children or other pets. Finney needs a lot of reassurance and positive feedback. He is very endearing and needs to be able to recover from the triggers that have put him on edge. He is a sweet boy who wants to be loved and have lots of attention. He loves to cuddle at night.

Finney must have a fully physically fenced yard and no small children in the home or as visitors.  If you feel you can meet his special needs please fill out an application. He is a very loving boy.
