Scarlett spent the first four years of her life in a commercial breeding facility. She spent her past life making babies for profit. She is really enjoying having a fenced yard to run in and other dogs that she can play with. She is still rather shy with strangers but has slowly learned that treats are wonderful, crates are a safe place, and laps can be a really good place for a nap. She is rather vocal when it comes time to be fed and be let outside. She lets you know what she wants for sure.

She does have a low grade one heart murmur so she should be checked yearly for any signs of progression. She is not on any medication.

She needs another canine companion, a securely, physically fenced yard, someone who is willing to continue to work with her on her confidence.
