Lexie is a 7 year old female tricolor cavalier. She spent life as a former breeder but is now living the good life! Lexie came into rescue overweight but with the care and diet that her foster provided her (a personal trainer for people), she is looking trimmer and moving better! Once at her ideal weight (and her new people will need to continue her healthy lifestyle), she is otherwise healthy! No heart murmur or other health issues. 

This girl is a real sweetie and loves all humans and dogs! She likes kids and is very relaxed around them. Her tail never stops wagging and she is always happy. She is fine around large and small dogs and enjoys the company of others. She is equally fine by herself and is happy to be an only dog as long as she can be with her human(s)!

An ideal home is one where she can continue her daily walks, stay active and not be lazy and someone who will NOT overfeed her. A young family or active middle aged family is best. She enjoys playing outside and being in nature just as much as she loves snuggling on the couch. She is housetrained and crate trained and has good leash manners.
